This coming Saturday, 25th April, would have been Jacob’s 7th birthday. Our sadness is once more brought into sharp focus; a wonderful son, a life cut short, all the things that could have been.......... It only seems like yesterday when we celebrated Jacob’s 6th birthday. A day of laughter, joy and optimism, when hopes were high for a long and healthy life. Jacob’s birthday will be difficult beyond words, but we will not let our pain taint this special day. Jacob continues to inspire us and we will celebrate his life and the precious time we were privileged to spend with him, as best we can.There will be a family gathering, a birthday cake and balloons will released at his grave. Please spare a thought for Jacob on his birthday and take the time to remember him in your own special way. It will mean so much to us and to Jacob.
