Some of you may know that I (Jacob’s Daddy) have always enjoyed making music and writing songs, but purely as a hobby. Well, my latest fundraising idea is to try and put that to good use and write a song about Jacob and then approach some people in the music industry with a view to recording the song professionally and then releasing it to raise funds for his appeal. I have now written that song and recorded it on my computer based studio (Yes that is me singing!).The song is called ‘Starlight’ and is something I wrote a couple of weeks ago when I was feeling a bit sorry for myself and needed to reaffirm my belief that Jacob was going to get through all this. Hopefully the words speak for themselves. I have written to a prominent figure in the music industry to see if they can help, so hopefully something will come from this. If anybody reading this knows anybody well connected in the music industry, or somebody who may be able to help with this fundraising idea, please get in touch with me. I hope you like the song.
