My Diary
We held a little party for Jacob on Sunday with our family and a few of Jacob’s friends. We would like to have invited more people along but we didn’t want to over do things for Jacob. A fantastic children’s entertainer called Ken Kelly came along. He did lots of magic tricks and made us all laugh. Although Jacob is now very poorly he joined in with some of the fun and was so brave.
Although we didn’t much feel like having a party we are glad we did and know that this also gave some people a chance to see Jacob and perhaps say goodbye.
We would like to thank Nicky’s sister, Wanda, for organising the party as we find it difficult to deal with such things at the moment as all our attention is focussed on managing Jacob’s illness. We all love Wanda very much and she has a heart of gold.
